Partnerships
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
– Helen Keller
Partnerships are more than sharing the work and halving the load. A good partnership is strategic and allows you to accomplish things that are normally not possible. Good partnerships allow you to stay close to your identity, focus on what you do best, and be blessed by others who are uniquely gifted to handle the rest. Legacy Builders has two very key and strategic partnerships with other ministries, Open Door Mission and Isaiah House. We will share more about why we partner with Open Door Mission in future letters. This month we would like to highlight a very special and unique gathering in the city of Houston.

Isaiah House
Legacy Builders is a mentoring and discipleship ministry for men who are homeless and in recovery. The work we do is effective, but can be demanding of men at times. Isaiah House is a great compliment to our ministry and much more than a halfway house focused on “aftercare” for men in recovery. “Practice Heaven”.
That is how the men in my small group have referred to Isaiah House. The weekly outreach dinners are highly relational, grace-oriented gatherings where men get to “eat like kings”, be refreshed, and have significant fellowship and discussions with people from all walks of life. Each week the meal is generously donated by others. As God leads, we invite you or your Sunday school class to consider providing the food for one of these weekly dinners for about 40 to 50 people. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Thank you for your partnership in this outreach to men!
